Mincemeat: How Do I Use It?
As a traditional pie and cookie filling you can bake with mincemeat. Or you can use it straight out of the jar:
- Top cheese and crackers
- Add it to yogurt
- Mix into cottage or cream cheese
- Stir into oatmeal
- Warm it to top ice cream
- Pair with baked squash
- Sauté onion and garlic, add one half cup mincemeat, finish with balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and freshly chopped herbs. Enjoy with pork, fish, game or poultry.
