Mincemeat: How Do I Use It?

As a traditional pie and cookie filling you can bake with mincemeat. Or you can use it straight out of the jar:

  • Top cheese and crackers
  • Add it to yogurt
  • Mix into cottage or cream cheese
  • Stir into oatmeal
  • Warm it to top ice cream
  • Pair with baked squash
  • Sauté onion and garlic, add one half cup mincemeat, finish with balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and freshly chopped herbs. Enjoy with pork, fish, game or poultry.

Our recipes use one 12-ounce jar per recipe. Let us know how you use our mincemeat by posting photos and recipes on our Facebook page.
